Hi,Looking for advise.

I have a full out board engine cover to make for a small Honda. The engine lives on the back of a yacht ready to be put on the tender.
Assuming that the engine is allowed to cool off & generally ready for storage, is there any need for ventilation or drain holes in an all over canvas cover ?
I will be reinforcing the prop area in case of any sharp edges.
But not sure if I should leave a hole in the bottom or something ?

Thanks
Suzi
If it aint broke, don't fix it !
