I'm going to install a window in my screen enclosure and I was told that you should leave a small bubble in the window to allow for expansion and contraction. This was told to me by the fellow that did the enclosure on my friends boat. I didn't really like the looks of it that way. Any tips. Thanks,  Goody

I suppose you could argue that this makes sense but it is not something I would do. I would make it nice and flat. If high quality materials are used it should be fine, even with normal expansion and shrinkage.

Thanks Matt, I am inclined to think like you, plus I like the looks of a flat window vs the bubble look.
