Anyone who knows tricks to making a neat curved hem please help! Sewing an ordinary boat cover secured by perimeter snap fasteners. I am turning under 2 one inch hems to provide a total of 3 thicknesses of canvas for the snaps. There's got to be a way to do this.....Thx

Either use some wide bias cut stripes of material ( depends on how curvy it is) or cut the edge shape out separate ( make your own edging) Then either bind the outside edge or fold edges inwards & sew down close to the edge to make an unbound finish. ( can be a bit lumpy )
Some people use webbing to reinforce the edge takes a curve pretty well, I find it can shrink & is tough to punch through.

If it aint broke, don't fix it !
