Hi guys.

I haven't made anything out of nylon yet with my LSZ-1 and I'm wondering which weight of nylon you would recommend for making wind scoops for my forward hatches?

Oh, and should I use a different thread and needle than what I use for Sunbrella?

Thank you!

Hi Dan,
Use Nylon Flag cloth (4oz). Also the needle should be a #14 running a V-46 thread. So yes it is much lighter than Sunbrella.
Thanks, Matt
