what is the name of the material that is used sometime for covers of seats, binnacles, etc. It is grayish in color and has a soft flannel type backing, it's stretchy and is easier to make the covers more form fitting?

Also, what type of material is used for the seats on ski jets, and does sailrite sell it?

Thanks,
KandM Creations

Not sure what material you are referring to. For the Jet Ski seats I use Naugahyde NaugaSoft. But a 4 way stretch vinyl is actually best. This is something we need to add to our line.
Thanks, Matt

Thanks Matt,
It makes sense that the material would be called a 4 way stretch. That is excatly what it does. Since you don't carry it yet, do you have any idea where to obtain it?
Also, what type of patch can I use on the boat seats for a temporary fix for this season. The seagulls pecked holes in them.

Thanks for the help

Not sure where to send you. Try a google search for 4 way stretch vinyl fabric.

I would try Tear-Aid for the patching. Or if the foam is damaged you could get the Anything Foam product. Just keep in mind that this would mean ultimate replacement of the foam when you get around to redoing the cushions.

Thanks, Matt Grant
