Matt or anyone.......does sailrite sell a soft backing to sew on the underside of sunbrella fabric so as not to scratch high gloss finishes? I have seen this material but don't know what it's called nor where to obtain it. Thanks

We have a Sunforger Flannel which is a 100% cotton that could be used as a lining but it will make the cover somewhat heavy as the combined fabric weight will be about 15 oz. per square yard.

The flannel looks nice and is very soft.
Another option would be to use the Sunbrella Supreme. The flocking on the inside is softer than the Sunbrella exterior.

Where chafe resistance is also important, Weblon Regatta Solid Color Vinyl Fabric has worked for me.

For chafe protection the Odyssey would be great, but otherwise it is actually a rougher surface than the Sunbrella. I have customers using furniture grade Sunbrella (the Canvas line) for glider covers. The stuff is soft enough not to damage the gel coat finish. The downside is that it is not as water resistant.
