Hi ALEXSAILS:

Call 1-800-348 2769 and ask for Jeff.  He is our sail expert.  If anyone knows about this program, it would be him.

Best regards,

There is an explanation of the different versions of Sailcut here:

http://www.sailcut.com/

Sailcut CAD is the one to use in most cases, it's Free Software, runs on both Windows and Linux and is actively used/maintained.

Well my original question should have been...which of the Sailcut versions should I download??

Under downloads there appears to be several updates/versions etc with #'s for each "version" ,,,Im not a computer guru so cant tell one from the other...

thanks!

You can get version 1.2.4 of Sailcut CAD in the form of an installer for Windows here:

I reviewed this software about 8 years ago for use at Sailrite and found it rather incomplete.Ouch Unless it has improved greatly, you will probably be better served using the formulas in Sailrite's Sailmaker's Library.  Of course, the fact that I wrote the Library manuals may make me somewhat biased.LOL
