Can someone explain what is the best way to start a slider on a coil zipper. I just added smileys in my existing windows with coil zippers and I left the ends open to install the sliders. What a time I'm having trying to get the sliders to catch both tracks. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance Vince

It can be tough but with practice it gets easier. There really are not any tricks other that to make sure it is flipped the right way to match the zipper tape.

On a #10 zipper i cut one side about 1/4" shorter then the other then i start the slide on the long side thus the 1/4" longer then with the tape selerated insert the short side and eith a little preasure and practice it will be prety. Easy.
