I was viewing both videos you have making the Bimini one featuring Bill the other featuring Angela it appears in both of these videos you have a different method for accounting for the curve at the ends of the bow. In Bill's video He seems to subtract the curve during the marking and cutting then he lays the pocket down flat measures that 6 1/2 inches and sews to that line In Angela's video she lies it flat marks the line then subtracts a half inch for the tubing and then starting at the curve She then subtracts the additional amount to account for the curve Watching these videos I'm confused as it doesn't seem that Bill subtracted for the half-inch the tubing in the forward or aft pockets but for the center pockets he did say to subtract half an inch Could you please further clarify this

The Angela video was confusing customers but it accomplishes the same general thing. The video with Bill is a more precise way to do it and works great. I strong suggest following the video Bill is in. The difference is that Angela eases the pocket by 1/2" and Bill puts the allowance in the sleeve hem by adding fabric there and not easing the pocket edge. Hope this makes sense.

thanks for quick reply and yes bill does seem easier to follow so in bill video no need to subtract for tubing in fore and aft pockets
but he does subtract for the tubing in the center pockets just making sure i understand it correctly |

Correct, you don't ease the pocket edge toward the sleeve seam. Instead you add material into the sleeve seam. And correct we are only talking about the fore and aft pockets.
For the center pocket you do ease the entire length of the pocket toward the seam. Your understanding is perfect!!!! Love it.
