Hi there, My sewing foot is stuck up and I’m not sure how to get it lowered. Tips please!

Please let me know what machine you have. But the first thing I would do is to run the machine without thread and while doing so actuate the presser foot lift lever. This will generally get the foot to drop on any machine. Then if it happens again you need to check for perhaps the foot being set too high. Such a situation could cause the mechanism inside to bind and keep the foot from dropping.
