I'm sewing on a LSZ-1 using the swing away 1" Binder.  Last week my binder started acting up, The binding taps is drifting more to the top.  So much so, that the bottom half of the binding tape will often completely miss the stitch.  I don't see anything visually wrong with the swing away binder.  I have made sure there is nothing hanging up my roll of Binding tape, and I have readjusted the Binder attachment so that it is perfect alignment.  I've also done my best to inspect the motion of the walking feet and found nothing wrong.  Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Kris~

Hi Kris, please check the binding material. What is it and measure it’s width. If it is under spec this could be the problem. Please let me know.

Thank you for the reply,  I also verified that the Binding material was correct.  Correct part number and correct width.

Hi Kris, can you tell me what binding it is and physically measure it to see what the actual width is?

I apologize Matt, I was out of town on Business.
The Binder is 1" Polyester Tape #3 Soft Finish Black #50-0296 1" from John Howard Co.
I confirmed that its width is indeed 1"

We will need to test that binding here. If it is soft is could be compressing which would cause that issue. Can you send a sample to my attention?
