I am sewing some seats with phifertex plus. Which is a stronger seam, sigzag or straight stitch?

Hi John,

Zigzags will distribute stress better accross a wide seam. But for this material it would actually be more normal to use straight stitches (about 6mm long) and to create a flat felled seam. Straight stitches also "hide" better.
Best Regards,
