I'm trying to set up my Professional Long Arm machine to do a repair patch on a .50 spinnaker. The lower thread seems to jam and then the upper thread breaks after just a few stitches. Thread is V-46 and the needle is a GAS #14.  Upper tension is almost as loose as it goes and bobbin tension is just loose enough that if supported by holding the thread, the bobbin case will slip just barely.

Any suggestions to help set this machine up properly for this job?

Thanks,
Jim
