I have a Artisan 797 AB walking foot upholstery sewing machine. Currently what happens is that when I start sewing after a couple inches of stitches, oil starts running down the walking foot. The oil reservoir is not over full, in fact I drained some out & it's just above the low level mark & it makes no difference. Any Ideas or help will be appreciated.

There should be an adjustment on the sump that sits in the oil bath. It is generally a cover plate over a port that can be opened or closed to change the amount of oil being pumped. Open the port more to reduce the effectiveness of the pump.
