I have an older Hobie 16 Jib that needs to have the batten tension grommets replaced. These are the small 3/16 grommets at the opening to each batten pocket. Is there a specific grommet I should use and how can I replace them without unstitching the pockets? It's a tight fit.
Any help appreciated.

They usually use size 0 or sometimes even 00. It will be best to replace the grommets with a larger size since the fabric is likely weakened around the original grommets. Unfortunately you will need to unstitch the end of the pocket to install the new grommets. When done just sew the edges back down again.
Thanks, Matt
