    Posted: 15 November 2013 at 10:22am

The Magma Party grill that I use on my boat needed a cover. I did not like the big floppy bag covers sold by Magma for the grill, so I designed and built my own.

The design has six segments, five identical saucerazoid shaped panels and a sixth panel that is larger, more rectangular, to fit over the handle and the igniter button.

FYI, this video shows the proper pronunciation for Magma.

These images show my POW'R GRIP Fish Rod Holder Mount cover / holder and my Combination Control Valve / Regulator Turbo Venturi Tube cover / holder.

The Owner's Manual says the: "Venturi tube should be stowed with valve in a clean dry environment when not in use."

This valve bag permits proper storage.

The gas grill on my boat uses disposable propane cylinders.

These propane cylinders must be stored properly, to protect the steel tank from water / rust and to ensure that the very flammable, heavier-than-air propane does not accumulate on-board if the tank should ever leak. There are many requirements for storage of propane on a boat.

This Magma propane tank storage bag is one way to carry these tanks properly.

These images show the cannister storage bag I made to carry two 16.4 oz propane tanks. The bag is suspended from the bow rail, so any potential leakage would fall safely off the boat. The fabric is Sunbrella Supreme, so the tanks are protected from water / rust.

The webbing is 1" polyester selected for UV resistance.
