Matt can correct me if I'm wrong,  There are only a few of sewing machine manufacturers left in the world.  A couple in China and a couple in Taiwan and a few more in Japan.  Pfaff still makes their industrial machines in Germany.  The LS series come from a mfg in China and the larger professional and 111 series come from Taiwan.  Sailrite has them made to Sailrite specifications just like Brother has them made to Brother specifications.  The difference the Sailrite company makes from the other machines that come from the same manufacturers are that Sailrite goes through each machine when they get it to fine tune it so that it sews like a machine should.  After the Sailrite techs get done with it you are ready to plug it in and sew.

Hi Lennie,

You said it well but there are a few corrections:

The Ultrafeed series is a collaboration between Taiwan, China and the United States. Sailrite gets certain portions of the machine from all of these countries before final assembly and tuning here in good old Indiana, USA. The same can be said for the Sailrite 111.

The Professional is from Taiwan. If the MC-SCR motor package is ordered, it is 100% US made. Again tuning is done by Sailrite.

Hope this helps!
Thanks, Matt
Sailrite

Best Regards,
Matt Grant
