I just tried out my Fabricator for the very first time tonight, and I cannot get the stitch length dial to work. The stitches do not change no matter what number I set the dial at. I understand about raising the foot, pressing the tab, depressing the reverse lever while turning the dial. But nothing changes. I can see the dial moving in and out on its shaft as I turn it, but stitches remain very large, probably the 8 mm length. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help for this newbie!

Hi Nancy,
What has happened is that the dial has gone past 8 and now you can’t get it to move clockwise past the stop. Please don’t operate the machine until we can help you to get this reset. Please email me at matt@sailrite.com with you phone number so I can contact you.
