What type of fabric should I use for a hammock style (no cushion, just a sling) chaise lounge? A friend asked me to make a replacement for a couple of lounges that ripped. Currently the material is a thick mesh material.

Thanks

Jeff

Matt

Sorry I don't have one and can't get to it for a few days. Just think of a "sling style" seat that is strong enough to hold a full grown man (about 280lbs) but pourous enough to let water drain thru. I was thinking phifertex plus mesh, but I'm not sure.

Jeff,

Phifertex Plus is an exellent choice for your project.

Matt

While we are on the subject, what's the difference between Phifertex and Phifertex plus? Is it just the material weight and if so, would plain Phifertex mesh hold up?

Thanks!

Jeff

The Phifertex Plus is much stronger than the Phifertex Mesh. For your project I would use the Plus.
