Curved Shapes with Dacron

   I am making a new mast boot cover for a friend, based on her old one.  She requested that it be made using 6 oz. Dacron.

Normally for a curved shape, I would cut the pieces on the bias to "encourage" the curve.  Limited research indicates that Dacron does have bias stretch like other woven fabrics.  But since I'm new to using Dacron for projects, I wanted to see what everyone else thought.

	Hi Beth, It will not have much bias stretch due to the resin. I am not sure Dacron is the best material for this application. I would think something like Top Gun would be better if you don't want a vinyl.
