I've selected by sunbrella pattern for cockpit cushions (closed cell foam), but I'm still uncertain about what to put on the bottom of these cushions. Phifertex is awfully slippery. Cushion underlayment seems a little thin and prone to tearing, but appears to provide some grip -- does this fabric have the durability required for sailing and routine movement in the cockpit?

Here are some of my cabin cockpit cushions, which I finally finished this winter!

Cushions look great!!!

Cushion Underlining is very durable and would be a good selection for the bottom surfaces.

Thanks, Matt. I'm going to give it a try. More stripes and piping... the bane of my existence. ;)

Yes, but it is better than trying to pattern match something like large flowers. LOL
