New member seeking a little help. I've been replacing all of the vinyl on my boat seats and cushions. I'm ready to do my coaming pads and have a question. The pads are about 8"wide and 2" thick backed by a 1/4" thick plastic material that the boxing is stapled to. The pads have a 120 degree bend in them at about a 5" radius. When patterning the new boxing, do I pattern to that 120 degree bend or will the vinyl stretch around the corner? Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.

Since the boxing thickness is rather wide (2") I recommend patterning the bend shape. Otherwise you will notice some pretty obvious wrinkles.
