I'm replacing missing battens and repairing torn pockets on a CP23 main. I had one batten remaining as an example and ordered the pultruded battens which seemed the closest to what I had. The battens are a little stiffer than the original and here's my question: The description for the pultruded battens says they can be sanded to vary the flexibility - would you sand the edges or the sides?? Thanks for any replies!

Sand the flat sides, not the narrow edges. Thanks, Matt
