I noticed an earlier posting that recommended Surlast fabric to the top of an awning and Phifertex for the sides. I was wondering why the preference for Phifertex for the sides? Is there a % sun block rating for Surlast?

Thanks,
Ken

Surlast is nearly a 100% sun block. It would provide rain protection as well as sun. The Phifertex will allow some visibiltiy and allows for some airflow. It also provides shade.

Thanks, Matt
