Looking for ideas on how to work around lazy jacks that hold up a stack pack type mainsail cover.....Making the awning for a boom without LJacks seems quite straight forward ..........

Has anyone figured out how to deal with this ?  Confused

thanks

Hi Karin:

Try making the awning in two pieces rather than one. The two pieces can be zipped together, but cloth to cloth lift the dots also work very well also.  That way, you only need to cut short slits for the lazy jacks and the slits can be held shut with velcro.

I hope that this helps,
