Has anyone added luff tape to a nylon off wind sail like a blooper. This sail now has straps that wrap around the foil. He wants to now convert it to #5 tape. How would I go about this? Would I use dacron tape?
Thanks

I would remove the straps, make sure the luff was the correct length to fit the extrusion then install the #5 continuous support tape over the existing luff.  The tape is our pt#22102 simply slide the sail into the luff tape staple or seamstick it in place and sew it down then you can slide it right into the extrusion.
